I dont know how anyone can give this app 1 star!!! It is probably the best app of its kind for the price. Ive looked around for some time and found most of the good programs charge you monthly, but this app is all encompassing at one very reasonable price. The developer is extremely helpful and is easily accessible via email. I dont know many app developers that respond to emails, so I continually am please when I email him and then receive a prompt response. He also takes any developmental suggestions into consideration and sometimes, if it can be done, will implement them. Come on people give this program a chance. Ive been successfully using is for about 2 years now and Im never going back! It just keeps getting better!

Pretty amazing app, Handles a lot of small business info and keeps track. Just experienced their customer service, and it is exceptionally fast.

I recently viewed the demo of a popular Mac POS system that is much higher priced. Add several zeros! I kept thinking, yep I can do that in Ring It Up, and that too... I thought this little app wasnt a serious business contender, but it does the trick with a couple of good advantages. Because it runs solely on your iphone/ipad you dont need to double up on land line in addition to cell phone plan. Beef up your cell phone plan and go. I export all the files into MSExcel and edit them there with a keyboard for speed. Backups go on Dropbox for safety. Credit card plan is reasonable. Hire an assistant with the money you save on your POS! Support is an email away, they are very helpful! All in all, I am very pleased.

I am a hairstylist and am using this app for all my POS and inventory. I love the scanner. This app is so easy to set up and use. It would be perfect if it had a calendar that I could use to book appointments and cash people out thought their appointment time somehow.

Dont expect a full blown accounting package like a PC counterpart application. But, this app is great for basic accounting needs fully running on mobile devices. I copy totals from monthly reports into Quickbooks for the more complex accounting. This is great for mobile billing/invoicing.

Ive been a user of this app since the beginning and I can tell you there is nothing better. Im a computer consultant who does on site service for residential, small and medium size businesses. RingItUp takes care of all my accounting (invoicing, payables, receivables, tax calculations, payment processing, including credit cards) inventory, appointment and time management, reports of activity, sales, inventory, revenue and everything else. RingItUp is an app designed for small to medium size businesses providing products or services. It is complete business management solution: a one stop shop that does it all and does it perfectly. You can keep and track your inventory(all aspects including item based applicable taxes) ,setup appointments with built in calendar, create and edit invoices(you can customize the invoice to your company, logo, etc.), accept different payment methods including credit card payments, keep a customer database (also imports people from contact list), keep track of your expenses(takes pictures of your receipts so you dont have to worry about loosing them). I also love the reporting section: it can generate reports regarding expenses, sales, revenue and profit, inventory, within a given time and many other variables, and email those reports directly to your accountant!!! It backs up all data with options to email it, save it to the iOS, or do a direct backup to your Dropbox account. There are a lot of other features and abilities that make this product the best in its class. It did effectively replace my PC accounting and business management suite which cost me a few hundred dollars annually. The support is simply fantastic! Ive only encountered a couple of bugs in the years Ive been using this app. I was contacted within minutes of notifying the support department. They were very quick to fix the issues! In short, if you are picky and organized in business, this is your complete solution and barely costs anything. It replaces a few software packages that cost hundreds of dollars more. Thank you for such a wonderful software and making my life so much easier! I would give this app 10 stars if I could. And no, I dont work for the developers, I just appreciate a good thing :-) Update: new interface is nice. Takes getting used to But more user friendly I think.

I have been using this product since version 1 or 2 and I have seen it evolve form really good to really really great. I does what its supposed to do and isnt that what a software should do. They have great support and I have stopped needing it as its reliable and flexible and intuitive. I actually think they should rethink the icon as its no monopoly app its a POS software that is for serious business, mind you the target seems to be the one man POS terminal which is fine. I would really love to see some iTunes sync so I can see my data on any of the three devices and then I would work as as a multi terminal, which would really rock. I love the data base export and import function for really fast item input and updating. Its worth every penny.

Everything was AWESOME!!! Now I cant bloody well PRINT my receipts!!! AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

Been using this for 5 years at least and have 100s of sales registered using this app. Cant beat it for flexibility. Also cant beat the support.... Hands down the best support anywhere and for any app. Very configurable for products and the sales quote and invoice templates. Also branding with your logo, tag line and terms is a breeze. Cant say enough about how good this is and how eager the developer is to help tweak or troubleshoot. Thanks Todd for keeping my biz running like greased lightning.

I have been running an on-line doll shop for the last 16 years. Only once I got an iPad did I finally found the BEST POS/INVOICING App and I could not be happier. This Apps is easy to use, reliable, customizable and allows me to do my job "on the go" in a much better way I was able to do it on my home computer when not travelling. Furthermore the customer support is absolutely THE BEST in the business. Prompt response, quick solution, etc... RING IT UP is the number one reason I am attached to my iPad at all time. I have been using Ringitup for several years now and am very pleased with this stand alone app. (I have the universal version). Unlike a lot of other apps with no support, anytime I contact them with a question or if I need their help, I ALWAYS get a quick response and resolution to my problem. Have no fear this app is awesome!!

Ive been using ring it up for a number of years for my business. Great inventory tracking, Great purchase order creating / receiving. Never thought I could access from afar & I just found a way to do it. Thanks ring it up!! Saves me sooo much time . If I could give 100 stars I would .

I had some printing issues with this app and Fabio at Ring It Up really did his all to help me. Its a great app and I use it to write orders at the trade shows that we exhibit at. There are a few tweeks that Im hoping theyll make such as allowing me to check the customers shipping info within the order writing mode. This is a function that is essential when writing orders due to the fact that customers periodically change locations since the last time they placed an order. I would also love it if there was a credit card number capture feature using the camera like some other apps have instead of having to manually enter the number. Being able to capture credit card data to be processed at a later date should be an integral part of the functionality of this app. As it stands you can process credit card payment on the spot with this app which is fine for retail type transactions but pretty much useless for trade show transactions where both the shipping charges will be calculated and items ordered will be shipped at a later date.

Been using RIU on 2 Ipads at our show for a week now. Zero glitches and have processed many transactions. RIU handles hundreds of SKUs, integrates with Authnet, prints to our HP Wifi printer. Thank you Todd for a great product. Cant wait to see the future versions of the software. Wishlist: Small POS Wifi printer integration Realtime multi Ipad inventory sync. bluetooth/wifi Admin only access to reports. user level access.

Have used this app for over 2 yrs and I have to say after seeing many others out there, theres no comparison. Support is top notch and answered every single email Ive sent in a very timely manner. These guys continue to make it better and better after every revision. I have zero complaints about this app. Its the reason I have Apple products.
