Задумка гуд! Но почему-то не сохраняет...

Хорошая задумка. Если ведете мелкую торговлю очень удобно знать кто и что и когда купил/заказал и на какую сумму. Но все попытки и переустановки не дали нужного результата для этой программы - не сохраняет набранные в нее данные, что делает ее бесполезной.. может быть это только у меня так ?

Где русский в справке!!!?

Купил полную версию, как сделать импорт экспорт непонятно. Обратился к разработчику, ответили что переведут раздел хелпа с импортом/экспортом на русский, больше недели прошло, буду требовать возврата денег! К чему вообще выпускать продукт на русском а хелп на английском, переводите все уж, чего стесняться!? Ставлю одну звезду, так как после покупки совсем не понял преимуществ платной про-версии. Лучше доплатить и купить iзаказ

Очень полезная программа! Удобная и гибкая. Я приспособила ее под свою торговлю косметикой по каталогам. Было бы еще лучше, если бы можно было бы импортировать в нее сами каталоги, а не просто видеть картинку на главной странице. Что-то типа журналов, которые можно листать. А вообще, молодцы!

Использую iPad первого поколения и к сожелению при попытке добавить новый товар каждый раз вылетает( А за исключением этого приложение очень хорошее, но увы....

Когда же будет синхронизация с другими девайсами?

Уже несколько лет обещают сделать синхронизацию с несколькими девайсами. Программа подходит только для ведения ларька… Для выездной торговли нужна синхронизация с общей базой. Сделайте синхронизацию! Я купил сначала самую полную версию для АйПад , потом купил самую полную версию для Айфон. ПОтом был облом, когда разработчики сделали поддержку версии для Айфона Айпадами… Зачем? Чтобы позлить своих старых клиентов? ПОказать, как вы их лоханули? Я готов потратить 200$ еще… если будет общая база! Возьмите пример с Pocket Lists. Ребята сделали все просто функционально и отличная синхронизация! Другие не поворотливые монстры (DayLite и ему подобные) стоят баснословные деньги и не работают достойно… Хотите быть такими? Жаль потраченные деньги...

Не плохо но ооочень сложно( Нужно учиться работать на этой проге а учиться негде( нет ни какого суппорта, нет читалки-обучалки. Нужно иметь квадратную голову что бы разобраться в этой арограмме!

Давно искал подобное приложение. Сейчас изучаю приложение, радует простой и понятный интерфейс. Приложение не вылетает. Большое количество отчетов. Надеюсь, что оно меня полностью устроит и я куплю Про версию

I have used this app for years now and it’s worked great until recently and now, it won’t even load up. I am happy with the app but very disappointed that there is no tech support. I don't want to dog the app, just want some help figuring out why it stopped loading

Should have seen that last review in 2019 to get the heads up that developer support for this app seems indeed dead... Emails were sent and no reply. Website no longer accessible... Apple support can only say to keep trying... Here is a 2021 review saying you may want to avoid installing this. May not open anyway as it did not for me when helping a small business owner... A feature request would be that Apple initiates the a heartbeat monitoring process with developers updates and support and notify customers so they do not get orphaned when they drop support...

App crashing

And it just went blank!! Can’t access all my invoices and reports. Been using it for years and made it work for me. But now I am at risk of loosing all my invoices for the year. Terrible situation to be in.

Its Alive!!!

Their WAS an issue with the email about a year ago. It was because of an IOS update. It took a month or so to fix, bit its good. I use it daily I’m currently on IOS 14. Its a great app especially because it’s free. I have the pro version which is well worth the money. One option on the full version, and I think this version, is the multiple business option. It’s in the settings under “multiple business support” This allows you to theoretically create an endless number of companies. For instance you could have a wholesale priced fence company, and a retail priced fence company. You would have multiple customer inventories, one for each company. Its very easy to switch companys. Now you could, reflect your customers cost and your profit depending on which “company” they were in. I do general, and subcontract work, with the multiple business option this allows me to sell my parts at cost, if I was sub-contracted or sell my parts with a mark up if the job is my contract. I just have to switch companies in the ring it up app. I can also invoice their customer from ring it up. I create a “company” with the contracted companies name and their information. there I can create an invoice with all the appropriate pricing and description, and send it directly to their customer. With the approval of the contracted company of course.

Is this app dead?

Developer site pingysoft.com has expired Oct 8 and emailing invoice with pdf has stopped working on the app. I’m not sure if emailing invoices relies on cloud services or something. I thought it was all done local on phone. I think this app is as good as dead unfortunately.

Is it fair to say support for this app is dead?

I’ve been using Ring It Up for years, and have even beta tested for the original “developer.” My review used to be 5 stars. Now it appears that the app has been sold and there has not been an update for over a year now. I have sent several messages to support (through the email provided in the app as well as on the “developer” site... no response... I had a room full of 100 people, all interested in the app, as I had been talking it up for a bit, but I cannot in good conscience recommend something for a business owner that no longer has any support. Pinky soft, where are you? Is it time to start looking for an alternative???

Slowly Breaking Down

This used to be a great app. Been using it for about 5 years. Even emailed back and forth with the developer a few times about tweaks and upgrades. None of which ever came to fruition. Now it just seems to be falling apart. Starting today, I can’t even print anymore because the PDF piece of the software is no longer working. Email works but it no longer automatically attaches a PDF version of the quote/invoice. I guess I could say I “got my money out of it” but it’s just really annoying that I now have to go look for other invoicing software that will HOPEFULLY but PROBABLY NOT be able to import all my stuff from here. 😩😩😩 ALSO, their website now says “Error establishing a database connection” 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Cmon guys! Help us all out. Tell us something.

No longer works. No customer support.

There hasn’t been an update in over a year, the app opens only sporadically. What a shame. This used to be a top-notch app. It’s a very expensive app to suddenly no longer work. It’s now worthless for its intended purpose.

Not what it use to be

I’ve used this for 5 years and highly recommended it to others. However, in the last year, they do not respond when I email about a problems. Others have had the same experience. Also, Gmail addresses put all my I invoices with a PayPal link into my clients junk mail, which is big problem for me. So I’ll be switching.

Fantastic Support

I had some printing issues with this app and Fabio at Ring It Up really did his all to help me. It's a great app and I use it to write orders at the trade shows that we exhibit at. There are a few tweeks that I'm hoping they'll make such as allowing me to check the customers shipping info within the order writing mode. This is a function that is essential when writing orders due to the fact that customers periodically change locations since the last time they placed an order. I would also love it if there was a credit card number capture feature using the camera like some other apps have instead of having to manually enter the number. Being able to capture credit card data to be processed at a later date should be an integral part of the functionality of this app. As it stands you can process credit card payment on the spot with this app which is fine for retail type transactions but pretty much useless for trade show transactions where both the shipping charges will be calculated and items ordered will be shipped at a later date.

I've been using ring it up for a number of years for my business. Great inventory tracking, Great purchase order creating / receiving. Never thought I could access from afar & I just found a way to do it. Thanks ring it up!! Saves me sooo much time . If I could give 100 stars I would .

Great app and supporting crew!!

I have been using Ringitup for several years now and am very pleased with this stand alone app. (I have the universal version). Unlike a lot of other apps with no support, anytime I contact them with a question or if I need their help, I ALWAYS get a quick response and resolution to my problem. Have no fear this app is awesome!!

Hard to find much room for improvement!

The only thing I would like to see added to this app is the ability to add fields in the inventory area. Other than that, this is a soup to nuts app for anyone who wishes to track inventory, conduct point of sale transactions, and manage their customer base! Customer service has always been excellent, with quick response times to requests for assistance, reporting of bugs, and suggestions for additional features. I have used this app for years, and have watched it grow in features as a result of customer requests. There is no comparable app to this on the App Store!

Great App - Does Not Require Subscription

Honestly this is the best app for taking a store on the road. It's fast, reliable, intuitive and very flexible. You can upload your entire inventory via a csv file in dropbox. Developer is also very responsive which I appreciate. The only reason I dinged a star is that it doesn't integrate with the authorize.net payment app. Instead I have to set up the phonetransact payment app for authorize.net. However, finding which card readers are compatible with their app is incredibly difficult. PhoneTransact is also set up for hard sales and I have found PT to be a dishonest company - misrepresenting fees, non-clear financial statements, etc. That being said, Ring It Up is a great app - I highly recommend it. It's solid, fast/responsive, easy and powerful. We upload about 6-700 products at a time (it's easier than messing around with finding sku's for just what we bring on the road, and also gives me access to my inventory to answer customer questions) and it has no trouble whatsoever handling all of the data. I have also found the updates to improve the app functionality and keep up with the times.

All your information is YOURS--backed up on the storage of your choice (e.g., Dropbox or email zip). There is so much versatility packed into the Pro version of Ring It Up: Point of Sale, using bar code scanning; multiple pricing tiers; multiple tax codes, photos of individual products; automatic deduction of inventory as sales are made; ability to accept credit cards (bank fees apply, of course); ability to generate hard-copy reports and receipts via AirPrint...and there is, no doubt, something I am leaving out, but the most impressive part of Ring It Up, by FAR, is its Customer Service! I ran into a bit of a snag entering some data, so I emailed Customer Service for a bit of guidance. I was astonished at how quickly I received a response--within HOURS! (I will not bad-mouth the other so-called "professional app developer" by mentioning its app by name, but I will say that I after encountering a snag within a different app from another large developer within the last week, and contacting its Customer Service, I am STILL waiting for a response! [Not holding my breath.]) The developer of Ring It Up actually explained step-by-step OVER THE PHONE how to run the portion of the program I wanted until he was certain I was completely satisfied with every penny of my purchase. Now THAT is true customer service!!! Incredibly refreshing in this day and age when everyone is staring at the clock, and reading from some script, "Oh, Ma'am, I am sorry for the inconvenience..." No, this was genuine human-to-human connection--no scripts; no time clocks. Love the app; love all the bells and whistles; can't wait to see what's next! Many, many, MANY thanks!!!

Odd practices

So I bought this app a few years ago and did the $19.99 upgrade. They changed the app in .. 2013? And now I have to pay the $19.99 again? What? What happened? Why do I have to pay again?

If you need a great point of sale app that is easy to use and just "works". Be sure to give this app a try. The developer has been supporting this app for YEARS!! He's also done a fantastic job at adding new features and improving on the qualities of ring it up. I ended up abandoning the other platforms in favor of Ring it up because it works beautifully. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed!

Great app!

I am operating a small business by myself. When I found this app 2 years ago.I give up the Peatree that we been used for many years. I have been using it for 3 years now. Very powerful app with a lot of good features. I use it to send price quote to my customers; create and send invoice. I can even collect money online from my customers. I can respond to my client at any in any place. It has very good customer support too!

Still exploring..but considering

I noticed a lot of crashing as I wanted to delete transactions I put in while experimenting. Update: I just read that the ability to delete transactions is disabled in free version- that explains my problem!

Great App & Customer Service

I have probably tried every mobile POS out there and this one is the best by far. It has a ton of features and most of all, when you write for support they actually return your email. I use the card reader and airprint features. You get so much for the cost. It is worth the cost.

Terrific, low-cost point of sale

I have been using the pro version since it came out, several years ago, to run my farm, and market meat sales. It has worked almost flawlessly during this time, and when there are bugs the developer quickly fixes them. The developer is also quick to reply to any questions that I have. That's critical when for an app like this. It's so nice to quickly ring up a sale, and to have a record of that transaction. I also can easily look up how much was sold for any period of time so that I can better judge future sales, and cash flow. Yeah, there are other apps that offer back end data sync, but you typically pay for that, in the range of $40+ per month. I don't need that. Otherwise, this app does almost everything the expensive POS systems do.

Love it but I need more

I love the easiness and reliability of this app. The only thing I am missing is the ability to see a total number of product of what I have in inventory per category. It would be helpful instead of always counting. But I LOVE this app!

Doesn't work with PayPal...

Used to work with paypal but not with the newer version... Developer is unwilling to try to fix it since he 'had it working with older version of paypal. , No way to upload product images via flat file... With over 1000 products, I'm not willing to manually add images one by one, per developer's suggestion.

What?

This version of the app only allows for 10 transactions before you are asked to upgrade. Weird. Useless.

App is great

No complaints with the app. Everything works! I had asked for something special to be put in the invoice total options, and about a month later, it was on the update. I've been using this app for approximately 3 years. Support staff for the app is very responsive and want to help! Highly recommend!!!

Great POS

I love this app. Because it has everything we need at our boutique. It has a barcode scanner. Printing capabilities and credit card integration. The only thing that its missing for is a layaway option.

Great App

Personally I've been using this app for almost 4 years, owning the iPhone app first, then the iPad version (I wasn't aware of the Legacy version upgrade at the time), and everything within the app is great. I would definitely give this 5 star rating if they would just implement PayPal payments, or Square support. I used to really like the support built in for Innerfence's CC Terminal, but since Innerfence completely screwed and isolated their customers trying to get an "Extra" piece of he pie for themselves, I won't use the reduction anymore. The support by this company is remarkable, even emailing me back on a weekend when I sent them a question. This company supports their users the way that all companies should.

This App does what it said and a very useful tool.. For those people that are not that iPad savvy.. Contact customer support and they are very compliant with there support.. The money spend on the pro will be very well spent.. ^_^

PingySoft Please Please take into consideration.

I have the product on my iPhone and on my iPad and i have been using it for the last couple years (i believe since it started being available on the apple store). The product is awesome but i have been asking for two years to be able to set price levels to different customers and i don't know why it hasn't been done yet. We may want to give different prices to different customers without having to go back to previous invoices to check the previous price we gave to certain customers, Different prices should be automatically connected to customers that we assign the price to, and when we assign an invoice to a customer, his special prices should pop up automatically. And one more thing why did they cancel in notes the "invoice printed" message that stays there to see. How can we be sure that we did not forget to print an invoice that we got????? We do print a lot of invoices remotely without being able to see if they printed at the warehouse or not. So now we have to check what was printed and what was not to make sure that we have sent all the day's invoices to print. I would give the product five stars in a blink if they fix these two issues.

This has been the best POS/invoicing app I have found. Very versatile and adaptable to many types of businesses. Author accessible and open to suggestions. Makes it very easy to bill and collect on the job paperless!!!

It's great! I tried so many other products

I've been meaning to write this for awhile, I have been using ring it up for over 18 months. I looked into buying a point of sales system $1800+, that wasn't an option. I tried every free POS app.... None of them did what I wanted them to do. Finally I took the chance on Ring it up. I had never paid this much for an app. But I'm glad I did. I've personally recommended it to other people getting ready to start a small business, so I thought I might as well make a public review online. When I first bought the app I was a little overwhelmed probably because i wasn't familiar with iphones. I use it on an ipod, I pretty much got it for that reason. But the creator spoke with me plenty of times to get me through. He's a class act. I hope he develops more business apps. Best wishes, Your ring it up fan in NH.

This app is pretty amazing, I had a garage sail and people that didn't have cash on them could check out on there CREDIT CARDS!!!!! I loved it.

Great app, responsive developer

I initially chose this app over several others based on some of the features such as tiered pricing and ability to sync to the iPhone. The drop box integration and data import features are also great. There were a few tweaks that I was hoping could be made so I emailed the developer. I was surprised when he contacted me directly and immediately initiated several of the changes I was asking for. And when he released an app update with even more of the changes, I was blown away. So far I'm finding this a stable and well-designed app that is more powerful than any of the others I reviewed. Ring it up is making quoting and orders go smoothly for a change.

I've had great support with this app, the developer goes above and beyond. I use this program for my wholesale end of business. I'm hoping to utilize more features once I have an iPad. I look forward to every update to see how it's improved. Great work!

So easy to use

I run a busy guitar repair shop and needed a way to send my clients a quote and an invoice directly from my phone. This does that and more. In less then 2 hours I was able to add my entire inventory of services as well as products like strings and tuners to the app, making it very easy to create a really good looking invoice then proof it and send it in under a minute. It works seamlessly with my mail app and it takes care of inventory with barcodes, and handles credit card sales. Actually more then I would even use. It saves all my info and makes reports. I am a happy guy.

Fantastic ap

Love this ap. it's everything I need for my jewelry business. I sell at fine art festivals and this ap does EVERYTHING I need from keeping a complete inventory list to ringing up sales. Even tracks my profits and wholesale orders. Would work great for any small enterprise. Unbelievable support. I emailed developer late tonight and he actually called me 3 minutes later and spent alot of time with me going through everything. I now feel very comfortable working with the product. Adding inventory was so quick and easy because it has a clone button so I can quickly just type in a new price, etc. Highly recommend!
